Danielle Huffaker is currently pursuing a master’s degree at the Centre for Development and Environment at the University of Oslo, where she participates in research to explore the role of worldviews and human meaning-making in transformative climate change adaptation. She is interested in Integral theory as a framework for understanding social change processes and facilitating holistic international development. She also serves as a board member of Integral without Borders. Danielle holds a B.A. in Anthropology from UC Berkeley and has five years’ involvement with community development projects in Guatemala, including GRACE Cares’s Mayan Traditional Medicine project. She is excited to join GRACE Cares as a board member because of its commitment to community-led development and to join hand and heart with its family of local heroes, board members, and volunteers who bring deep experience, passion, and compassion to furthering their social change visions.
